In late 2016, I was walking through local art studios looking for things to buy for the bare walls in our home. After getting stuck trying to decide among so many beautiful pieces, I decided to try and make a piece of art for our home. I figured it would be unique and meaningful if it was something I made myself. But I had no idea then that painting would quickly turn into something I love.
With a career that demands so much time and dedication, it has been incredibly refreshing to find a creative outlet. I never thought I would reach a point where I would be comfortable sharing my art with the world. But after outgrowing the room available for painting in my dining room, I decided to get a bit more serious about my hobby. So I entered the art world with my very own studio on April 28, 2018.
At a time in my life when I desperately needed to be saved—the single, simple act of picking up a paintbrush saved me. I now see life through the constantly changing combination of colors that I paint. Even the smallest emotion is magnified in the fusion of colors—vibrant and delicate alike. So I want to make original art accessible to everyone in hopes that others are inspired to search for the same kind of serenity and satisfaction that painting has brought to my soul.
HOW TO BUY A PAINTING
You'll find photos of most of my paintings on my Portfolio page on this website. Just click on a photo for pricing and more details about that painting. And if a painting you like is no longer available, I'd love to work with you to create something similar.
If you or anyone you know is interested in purchasing any of my work, please keep a few things in mind:
*** Commissions are commitment-free. So if I create something and it’s just not what you had in mind, then you are under no obligation to buy it—I will just put it in the studio and offer it for sale to others.
*** Almost anything you see can be done in other colors and sizes.
*** Discounts are offered on purchases of two or more pieces.
*** I can deliver large pieces (30”x40” and above) in the Houston area.
Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or to purchase a piece!
